An aspheric cylindrical lens combines an aspheric profile on one axis with a cylindrical surface on the other. Holding the meridional figure while controlling mid-spatial-frequency error is what makes these parts hard to produce in volume. Our process route is developed in-house and delivers consistent part-to-part results in batch production rather than one-off hand correction.
