Toric Lenses

Toric Lenses

A toric surface carries two different radii on orthogonal axes and is used to correct astigmatism. The tolerances are tightly coupled — correcting one meridian tends to drift the other. We converge meridional and sagittal radii together, and measured curves for specifications such as R500 can be supplied with the shipment.
